*Have taught at Ichthus College for almost a week

*Have lived in Kampen for almost two weeks

What do I expect from you (1)?

*Form teacher/tutor has informed you about the rules regarding phones ;

* One person speaks at the time during instruction; 

* Raise your hand if you want to ask / add something;

* You need to sit according to the seating plan; 
* During individual working time: Talk to the person sitting next to you (at an acceptable noise level);

What do I expect from you (2)? 

-Sit according to the seating plan

When you enter the classroom: there will be an assignment on the board
-Start reading your novel (15 minutes; Similar to what you are required to do in Dutch class)
-After 15 minutes I'll instruct you on the programme for the rest of the lesson;  
- Don't pack your stuff before I say so;

Speaking activity 

In order to get to know your neighbour a little bit better, it might be worthwhile to ask about his/her holiday experiences. So: What did you do during the summer holidays (with whom)? Write down at least four activities

Mind that in the following slide you'll be asked to come up with keynotes about your neighbour's holiday).  So write down what your neighbour said!

Every lesson 

we'll bring a novel to class. It can be anything you like. It has to be an English novel. 
Another requirement is to bring earphones to class. Sometimes we'll do listening exercises in class / practise for the listening test you'll take in the second term. 

In order to get to know you.. 

There is an assignment in Teams. 

-I'm also interested in knowing what you've done during the summer break! 

-I will not share the results with other classmates
