Adverbs of frequency = bijwoorden die aangeven hoe vaak iets gebeurd.

Adverbs can be put in two places in a sentence:

1. in fornt of the verb (voor het werkwoord) 

    this is done if there is 1 verb in a sentence 

2. after the verb (na het werkwoord) 

    this is done if the verb is a form of to be (am/is/are/was/were) or it there

    are two verbs in a sentence. Then it is places after the first one. 

Examples

1. She always wears a dress

2. We are usually at school on fridays

3. Jason is not always like this 

4. We have often discussed grammar 

yellow = subject 

red = verb 

green = adverb
