Describe where food gets its energy from
Explain how fossil fuels got created
Explain what is meant by green energy and give three examples
Slide 3 - Diapositive
Paragraph 2.2
1) How does the energy from the sun get into our bodies? 2)How are fossil fuels created? 3) Name three examples of fossil fuel
Slide 4 - Diapositive
1) How does the energy from the sun get into our bodies?
Plants use the energy from the sun to grow using photosynthesis.
This way energy from the sun gets stored in plants.
When animals eat plants they use the energy stored in the plants to grow themselves.
Slide 5 - Diapositive
2)How are fossil fuels created?
Many trees and animals passed away over millions of years
As the surface of the earth changed they got buried under many layers of earth.
This created massive amounts of pressure. Over time they changed into fossil fuels.
Slide 6 - Diapositive
3) Name three types of fossil fuels
Coal
Gas
Oil
Slide 7 - Diapositive
