In deze les leer jij hoe je het beste invulvragen en juist/onjuist vragen kunt aanpakken tijdens de leestoets Engels.

Vragen beantwoorden: algemene tips

• De antwoorden staan in alfabetische volgorde dus het kan gebeuren dat je 6 keer achter elkaar A krijgt, puur toeval. 
  
• Als maar een deel van het antwoord goed is, is het fout. 
• 2 antwoorden vallen vaak al af omdat het ‘onzinantwoorden’ zijn. 
• Ook als je meteen weet dat antwoord A goed is moet je de andere antwoorden lezen. Je weet maar nooit …. 
  
• Het goede antwoord is meestal een stukje uit de tekst in andere woorden. 
  
• Let er goed op dat jouw eigen mening geen invloed heeft op een betoog/overtuigende tekst 
• Sla de vragen over waarvan je het antwoord echt niet weet en kom hier later op terug. Het gokken van antwoorden is je laatste optie!

Tips: invulvragen(gap-fill)

• Lees eerst de hele tekst snel door, zodat je een idee krijgt  over het onderwerp
• lees de alinea waar je iets moet invullen
• Dek  de antwoorden af, formuleer je eigen antwoord
• Zoek woorden die jij niet kent in het woordenboek (als jij tijd hebt)
• Kies het antwoord wat er het meest op lijkt

• Lees nu de tekst Film and cinema.
• Kies het woord wat het beste past in 'gaten' 1 t/m 6.

• Het is mogelijk dat álle antwoorden juist zijn, of álle antwoorden onjuist
• Kijk goed in welke alinea je moet zoeken, focus alleen daarop

To counter this, students taking exams might have to take drugs tests like athletes. There are already drugs that are known to improve mental performance, like Ritalin, which is given to children with problems concentrating. A drug given to people with trouble sleeping also helps people remember numbers.

These drugs raise serious legal and moral questions, but people already take vitamins to help them remember things better, so it will not be a simple problem to solve. It will probably be very difficult to decide at what point a food supplement becomes an unfair drug in an examination.
