Practise working with gap texts

• Step 1: Read the text globally, so you know what it’s about.
  
• Step 2: Carefully read the sentence with the gap. Now read a few sentences before and after the gap sentence.
  
• Step 3: Think of a (Dutch) word that would fit in the gap.
  
• Step 4: Now look at the answers. If necessary, look up words you don’t know. Compare the Dutch words you thought of to the answers and choose the answer that fits best with your own.
  
• Step 5: Read the gap sentence again with the answer filled in, and check your answer.
