• We use future tenses to say something about the future.
• 
  
• Future with going to
• Future with will or shall
• Future simple (present simple) 

Grammar 8: future tenses 

Future with going to :

• We use future with going to when we're talking about things that are about to happen.

• Form of to be + going to + infinitive (zonder to).

• We are going to visit grandma tonight.
• The chef is going to cut off his finger!

• We use future with will  when we're talking about
  promises or predictions.

• Will + infinitive

• We use future present when we're talking about things that happen according to a time table, just like in Dutch.
