We are going to spend the next two lessons on holiday planning.

Planning the teacher's holiday

Today, you are going to plan my holiday for next week in a group.

You'll be making a poster that completely describes the holiday you have planned for me.

My preferences:

- I want to go on holiday to Slovakia.

- My total budget is 400 euros.

- I still need a way to get there, so that can be by airplane, train, car or coach (you decide).

- I am planning to go from Sunday till Thursday.

- I want to see the following cities - Bratislava, Nitra and Trencin (maybe also Kosice if possible, you decide).

My preferences:

- I like sightseeing, but doing something active/sporty in between would also be nice.

- Means of travel through Slovakia does not really matter. It can be by car, train, bus or anything else.

- I do not mind spending some money on hotels, transport and activities, but I would like to keep it reasonably cheap (I am a student after all…).

Please do so in English, because it needs to be in English on the poster!

Make a group of max. 4 people.

Come and get a blank poster.

Get to work using the email that I sent you.

You can work outside the classroom if you like.

Be back at 13:15!!!

Poster showcase

Place your poster somewhere in the classroom.

Walk around the classroom to see what the other's made and decide which one is the best. Look at organisation, ideas and the use of English.

Homework

Tomorrow

Bring your phone/iPad, as long as you can use WhatsApp.

Bring the homework worksheet (see email).

Decide who you are going to work with (1 person) tomorrow and immediately sit together at the start of tomorrow's lesson.
