The capital of Australia is Canberra, although many people think it's Sydney. Australia has 24 million inhabitants. These Australians have their own customs and habits. For example, when they first meet someone, they say 'G'day' or 'G'day mate'. People in Australia really like outdoor activities, such as surfing and snorkelling. Luckily for them, the weather is usually very nice. Finally, the people in this country love to eat food with a lot of meat in it, such as meat pie.

Present continuous = afspraken in nabije toekomst, tijd + plaats staat vast.

He's leaving for New Zealand tomorrow.

Present simple = bij vaste schema's zoals lesrooster, treintijden, openingstijden.
