  • Use 'will' to express future actions, decisions, or predictions. (spontaneity, predictions based on intuition, and promises)

  • Use '(form of to be) + going to' to express future intentions, plans, or predictions.
(prior plans and predictions based on evidence)

  • Use 'might' for low probability or 'may' for a slightly higher probability
(often used interchangeably)

  • Use 'likely' for high probability (higher than might/may)
