A lot of = lots of (veel)

Little does not mean ''klein'' in this case

Veel:

In een positieve zin > a lot of/lots of.                                                         

In een vragende of ontkennende (met 'not'): much of many.        

much: Voor zelfstandige naamwoorden die je niet kan optellen

many: Voor zelfst. naamw. die je wèl kan optellen (meervoud)   

Na 'too, as, so .....': much of many
