  2. Click here to see the ATL task.
  3. Make a copy of the ATL task for yourself.
  4. Start doing the ATL task.
  5. Upload it on MB when done.
  6. Start then writing the SCRIPT.

The Task
 
You are going to spend a week with a Spanish family and before going you want to send them a video of yourself, your house and your family in order to show them how you live in Holland.

The product

A video where you introduce your family and the place you live.
You should present everything in Spanish using appropriate vocabulary and verbs.
Do not forget to conjugate the verbs correctly. Use the vocabulary we have learnt in chapters 1 to 4 from Mira 1.
You have to appear in the video the whole time.

 The following contents must be included in your video:
  1. Introduction of yourself: name, age, nationality, residence, languages you speak.
your school (outside, places you like,...)
2. your family (if they do not want to appear in the video, use photographs, but provide details)
3. your pets (even if you do not have one, mention that you do not have one)
4. your house (describe the parts of the house and mention the place you like the most)
5. your bedroom (describe your bedroom and the things that are there)
6. things you do at home (your daily routine, for this you have to imitate the actions, somebody else has to film you)

The video must be 3-5 minutes long.

Step 1:
Think about the things you want to say and how.

Step 2:
Make a draft of what you want to say, the script.
Share the script with your teacher to get feedback.

Step 3:
Get a video camera or a mobile phone with a camera.

Step 4:
Learn the sentences you want to say. Practise first at home several times.

Step 5:
Choose a day to start filming, preferably on the weekend when you can film during daylight. Inside the house, make sure you have enough light too.
When filming at school, ask always for permission to film a classroom, teacher or group.
Start filming.

Step 6:
Edit the videos with Moviemaker/iMovie or a similar programme. Include transitions between the different places at home/school. Include also Spanish/Latin-American music but make sure people still can hear you when talking.
