  • Formal language
  • No contractions (isn`t, can`t, etc.)
  • Sender`s name and address
  • Date
  • Receiver`s name and address
  • Salutation (Dear Mr/Mrs.....)

  • The body paragraph which clearly shows the reason of your letter. It also gives all necessary information about the purchase. (price, date, etc.)
  • The body paragraph also includes your reasons of cancellation which are supported by persuasive examples.

Today we will practice the 4 eye principle.

Please create the groups of 2 students. You will all randomly receive 2 letters. Those letters were written by your own classmates. 

You will all have 7 minutes per letter as a group.
