Informal Writing

Informal Writing 

Informal writing consists of short sentences and is used in more personal settings, such as writing a letter to a friend or writing a diary entry. It is much more relaxed than formal writing.

 

Lesson Goals

- You will be able to generate ideas for your informal writing piece

 

- You will be able to organize your generated ideas for your informal writing piece.

- You will be able to develop your organized ideas for your informal writing piece.

Informal writing:

• For friends, family, people you know well.
• Casual tone.
• Shorter, simpler sentences.
