Punctuation

Exercise 1: write a suitable punctuation mark in the blank spaces, where necessary.

Exercise 2:  read three versions of a text. Decide which version is the best in terms of punctuation.

1 - A) A few years ago, when I started running, it was almost always at night time.

3-  C) I learnt to love running in the dark, with the dark streets and the bright lights of the cars speeding past me. I wore a torch on my head and bright reflective clothes so I could be seen easily.

Running Dictation

Student A walks (or runs!) to read the passage on the wall.  Try to remember some of the passage and walk (or run!) back to your partner. Quietly dictate what you remembered to your partner.

 Student B writes down what is being dictated. Mind spelling and punctuation!

The winning pair is the team that finishes first without any mistakes.

You'll both receive two potographs. 

Talk about your photographs on your own for a minute and also answer a question about your partner's photographs.
