He has to use the shovel to make a pile of dirt under the window. Then he has to climb on it so he can escape from the cell. 

1. Who killed the geography teacher?

1. The killer was the math teacher. He was holding a 'mid year test' but the crime happened at the first day of school!

Do you know how the police found out who it was so quickly?

Answer

It was the mailman. He knew that no one in that house would read the newspaper on Wednesday or Thursday. That's why he came only on Friday.
