Grammar: comparative adjectives

small - smaller - smallest
smaller = comparative adjective
This shirt is small but that blue shirt is smaller

expensive - more expensive - most expensive
more expensive is comparative adjective
This shirt is expensive but that sweater is more expensive

Main rule:
short adjectives (like small, cool, cheap) 
+ er

long adjectives (like expensive, beautiful, interesting)
more + adjective

Situation: you are working in your store. A customer would like to buy a present for a friend/familymember. Budget: 25 euros.
Suggest two items he/she could buy, tell something about it (price, quality, return policy etc.) but also compare the two products using the comparative. 
Which one would you recommend?
