Grammar test 

Remember your iPad. It needs to be charged! The test is only about the PRESENT PERFECT (how perfect is that!) - But of course you do need to know the Past Participles (third row of the irregular verbs) - How the past perfect is formed. HAVE/HAS + PAST PARTICIPLE VERB

Country Project

Before you start, you will be divided into groups. Each group has 3 people in it.

Let's choose the groups now.

Country Project

During this week, you will be looking at different cultures and countries.

One country will be assigned to your group, which you will do research on

throughout the week. In this booklet there will be questions that you have to

answer to help you research your country. Different topics will be discussed, such as: language, art, sport, geography, religion and more. 

Make sure you answer in full sentences and research as much as you can!

Also ......

Next to researching another country, you are also going to partake in different

workshops. These include; dancing, sport, art and cooking workshops!  What fun!

Maandag:

1. uitleg van het project en de landen uitdelen. Er zijn 9 landen om uitgedeeld te worden.

2. Cito toetsen zijn tijdens de eerste twee uur. En een UNESCO les de laatste uur. De overige uren is werken aan project. 

Dinsdag

1. werken aan hun project tenzij jullie een workshop hebben. 

2. Voor de kookworkshop, moeten de leerlingen in twee groepen gesplitst worden.  

3. De workshops worden extern verzorgd. Koken is in de Lab lokalen en Capoiera in de sporthal. Staat in het rooster ook. Zorg dat je op tijd bent.

Woensdag:

1.  Workshop Hakka en Halt workshop. Hakka is in de drama Lokaal en Halt is nog niet zeker.

2. Ook CITO in de ochtend. 

3. Voor de rest - werken aan de project en mogen jullie ook aan de presentatie werken.

Baking: Thursday

Finally, on the last day, you will all be assigned to bake something from your country in your groups (so one baked goodie per group). You will bring this to class on Friday and we will finish the project with presentations and the home-baked goodies.

 You will need to send in your recipe, which will then be bundled up into a cookbook that you can take home with you. Send this to your Mentor!

Decide where you will do the baking! make sure you ask the parents!

Donderdag:

1. De leerlingen gaan vandaag aboriginal art doen in de kunst lokalen. 

2. Voor de rest mogen ze werken aan hun project en mogen ze ook aan hun presentatie werken. Ook, als alles klaar is, mogen ze eerder naar huis om te koken. 1 klas begint later, omdat ze als laatste een workshop hebben.

Vrijdag

Vrijdag

1. Het is de leukste dag! Jullie gaan presenteren en dan daarna de "baked goods" uitdelen. 

Erg leuk! 

Friday- Round up of the project

At the end of the five days (on Friday), you (and your group) will present what you have found out about the culture of your country. 

You can choose to present it, either in a poster or play or a powerpoint 

- Presentation 10 minutes + (5 minutes to share your baked goodies ☺)

- Make sure the 10 minutes are divided equally between team members!

Each student has to speak In English.

Most importantly, HAVE FUN!

I won't be here on Monday or Friday and there may be students from England leading the project on Tuesday
