"Hello, my name is Milena. My name has six letters in it. The first letter is M. The last letter is A. Nice to meet you!"

• Give each student an index card or a piece of paper and a marker. Have them write their name in large, clear letters on the card.
• Collect the name cards from the students and shuffle them.
• Tape the cards onto the back of each student, making sure that the name is facing outward so that other students can read it.
• Have the students walk around the room and try to match each name with the correct person. Encourage them to introduce themselves to their classmates and to ask for help if they're not sure of someone's name.
• Once everyone has had a chance to match up the names, gather the group and go through the names one by one, having each student say their name out loud and practicing proper pronunciation.
