Much gebruik je voor "niet telbare"  zelfstandige naamwoorden bv; money, sugar of information.
Many gebruik je voor "telbare zelfstandige naamwoorden 
bv; coins books of friends

Much en many gebruik je alleen bij vragende- en ontkennende zinnen.
