What is the cultivation system again?

1. Farmers had to give 20% of their crops to the Netherlands

The colonisation of Africa

In the 19th century, mainly South America and Asia were colonised. 

The only land left, was in Africa.

1884: Conference of Berlin: decides which European country gets which land in Africa.
