Supermarkets are common places where people buy food and drinks. In Irish, a supermarket is called 'Siúcra Ionad'. Let's learn some common words for food and drink in Irish.

Food and Drink Vocabulary

Examples of food vocabulary in Irish: bácús (bread), feoil (meat), glasraí (vegetables). Examples of drink vocabulary: uisce (water), tae (tea), caife (coffee).

Pronunciation Practice
