World War II

The World War II started in 1939. Hitler wanted one big imperium. He invaded Poland and wanted to control a lot of European Countries. He especially hated the Jewish people. He wanted to get rid of them and put them in extermination camps. A Jewish girl became famous because she wrote a diary about her experiences in the war. She was called Anne Frank. 

She had to hide for the Germans. One day the family got betrayed en the whole family was taken to a extermination camp. Only Anne Franks father, Otto, survived the war and after the war he published Anne’s diary. This book is known all over the world.
