Subject pronouns zijn voornaamwoorden. Ze gaan altijd over mensen, dingen, dieren en worden gebruikt als onderwerp in de zin:

We are learning English.

Subject  betekend onderwerp

Deze woorden vind je vaak aan het begin van normale zinnen. Alleen bij een vraagzin komt een werkwoord (verb) vooraan.
