Past Simple: Overview
The past simple tense is used to talk about completed actions in the past. It is formed by adding '-ed' to regular verbs or using irregular verb forms.

Affirmative Sentences
In affirmative sentences, we use the base form of the verb for regular verbs and the irregular past form for irregular verbs.
