What are pronouns?

Reflexive pronouns

 Wederkerend voornaamwoord terug verwijzen naar het onderwerp ( myself, yourself, herself, himself, itself, BUT ourselves, yourselves, themselves)

I hurt myself when I tried to cut the cheese. 

MUST KNOW:

No reflexive pronoun with verbs:

• to concentrate
• to feel
• to wash
• to worry

I feel good.  He worries about his dog. 

What is a reflexive pronoun?

Wederkerig voornaamwoord terug verwijzen naar mensen die iets doen en de consequenties tegelijk merken. 

Each other > bij 2 mensen

One another >  meer dan 2 mensen

Alan and Tom are talking to each other.  

The 4 fighting neighbours all blamed one another.

What is a reciprocal pronoun?

Indefinite pronouns

When you don't have to be precise and do not necessarily know the person/people

All, any, anybody, everybody, nobody, some, somebody
