Personal pronouns

Wat zijn personal pronouns?

Verwijzen naar een of meerdere personen.

Vandaag gaan wij het hebben over personal pronouns. Personal pronouns zijn woorden die je in een zin kunt gebruiken in plaats van een naam. Net zoals dat je in het Nederlands zegt die boeken zijn van (naam) kan je ook zeggen die boeken zijn van hem/haar. Weet iemand een Engels voorbeeld? (vb. I, You, Them, His, Themselves etc.)

What personal pronouns do YOU know?

Laat de leerlingen de woorden invullen.

Elke leerling mag meerdere woorden opschrijven. Bespreek na ca. 2-3 minuten denktijd de antwoorden en vraag over een aantal woorden wie deze in een zin kan gebruiken. 

E Grammar 

Personal Pronouns are words used to refer to specific people or things without using their names. They are used in place of nouns and can change form depending on their role in a sentence (subject, object, etc.). Personal pronouns can indicate the speaker, the person spoken to, or the person or thing spoken about.

These pronouns help avoid repetition and clarify who or what is being discussed.

Do you know if the pen belongs to ___ (hem)?
