Basic commands and objects

Review

This slide will ask the student to review the basic questions/skills from the previous unit.  

1.  Ask the student, "What time did Femke wake up this morning?" Look for the student to respond with the correct time. 

2.  Ask, "What did Femke eat for breakfast?" Look for "She ate waffles"or simply waffles.  

3.  Ask, "How does Femke come to school?" Look for, "Femke comes to school by bus."

4.  What time does Femke get to school?  Look for the student to say the correct time.

Ask the student, "What is your favorite class?"

Look for the student to answer the question using the proper full sentence rather than just one word.  

The Locker

Eernst came to school on Tuesday on the school bus. 

He was happy to be at a new school, but he was scared to use a locker! 

He tried to open his locker, but it was stuck! It wouldn't open! "Oh no! What should I do? How will I get my locker open?" Eernst thought. 

He asked the teacher for help.  

"Excuse me, Miss Smith?  Can you please help me open my locker?" said Eernst. 

The teacher opened his locker.  Eernst was happy.
