1. Each group will get a number from 1 to 5.
2. Each group will get a card with an aspect of modal auxiliary verbs.
3. Discuss this aspect with your group. Make sure that everyone understands it.
4. Rearrange the groups. Group up with one person from each group.
5. Explain to your group what is written on your card.

Let's do a speeddate!
1. Look at your card that has a famous person, a famous event, or a song on it.
2. Ask your partner questions to find out what is on the card.
3. Your partner will answer the questions using a modal auxiliary verb of possibility and certainty.
4. Switch roles and repeat.
5. In need of inspiration? Look at the examples on the separate sheet of paper.
