In het Engels zijn er twee lidwoorden: the, a.

Vandaag gaan we meer leren over het gebruik van the, dit wordt in het Nederlands vertaald met de of het.

Let op: In het Engels wordt niet altijd een lidwoord gebruikt!

  • Als het gaat over iets specifieks of bijzonders!
  • Als het gaat over een hele groep.
  • Als een naam zelf een lidwoord bevat.
  • In sommige vaste uitdrukkingen (Let op: betekenis kan veranderen)

as + noun/noun phrase
> may function as a preposition and is used when we talk about a function, a role or a function.

> may be used as a conjunction. Meaning in the same way as...
