Je gebruikt het wanneer je plannen hebt gemaakt OF wanneer het duidelijk is dat er iets gaat gebeuren:
- We're going to visit London.  (plan gemaakt)
- Look at him! He is going to win the race!  (hij staat dik voor, het zier er naar uit dat hij gaat winnen)
