Goals

At the end of this lesson we'll know each other a little better.

At the end of this lesson you'll know what to expect this semester.

Rules

Door is open for 5 minutes after lesson start.

No food in the classroom.

No phones unless I give my say so.

English is the primary method of communcation during the English lessons.

Structure of the lessons

• Generiek - 1 uur les, 30 minuten taalblokken
• Einde van elke periode taalblokken toets
  
• Business English - varieert, voorbereiding op beroepsvaardigheid examen.
  

What are we working towards

Generiek - 5 examens. Lezen, luisteren, schrijven, spreken, gesprekken.

Business English - Beroepsvaardigheid Examen Engels

Taalblokken

It's expected you have Taalblokken 4 Engels by next week

Present yourself

Find up to four images or photos that summarize you.

Prepare a short pitch where you introduce yourself using those images or photos.

Time: 15 minutes

I'll stop by everyone to hear your introduction so I can learn a bit about you & learn your names a bit faster (hopefully)

Write about your summer break

In a text of about 500 words in English write about the following:

• Include a short summary about yourself
  
• Summer highlights
• Summer low points

When you're done:

Think about something you would enjoy as a lesson opener for future lessons and attach that to the end
