Dear Dan,

I heard about your plans to go abseiling on your holiday - quite a risky activity.I have some experience with extreme sports, so I hope you don’t mind me giving you some advice. 

First, don’t forget to wear a safety helmet and good gloves. It’s also wise to bring a first aid kit in case of injuries.

Furthermore, it’s dangerous to go abseiling without a proper instructor. I really hope you weren’t thinking about going alone.

Finally, make sure you’re prepared for different weather conditions. The weather can change quickly in the mountains.

Have a nice holiday and don’t do anything stupid!
