The main assignment of this paragraph will have you play out a job interview.

The Theory page can help you prepare for this conversation by giving you examples of commonly asked questions and possible responses.

What should you do and what shouldn't you do in a job interview? Give examples of both.

Research the company and the industry

An interviewer may ask how you perceive his company's position in its industry, who the firm's competitors are, what its competitive advantages are, and how it should best go forward.

For the next 20 minutes I would like you to form pairs and to search for vacancies (vacatures) that fit with your current education.

Once you've found a suitable vacancy, start preparing for 10.3's Exam Exercise. For this exercise you'll have to play both roles (the interviewer and the interviewee).

10.4  - Resolving conflicts

10.4 is about resolving conflicts. The Theory page will provide you with example sentences that may help with the speaking exercises.
