Superlatives

Gebruiken we om aan te geven dat iets het meeste is.

Superlatives; hoe maak je ze?

Hoofdregel:

Bij korte woorden voeg je alleen -est toe. Bijvoorbeeld: shortest,sickest

Bijvoorbeeld:

He is the tallest guy I know.

Superlatives; hoe maak je ze?

Bij lange woorden zet je er most voor. Bijvoorbeeld: most interesting, most delicious.

Verder zet je meestal the vóór het bijvoeglijk naamwoord of vóór most.

Bijvoorbeeld:

This is the most horrible movie I’ve ever seen!

This is the hardest thing I have ever done
