Use a comma whenever you pause and with 'so' and 'but'. 

Appositives

Information placed beside a noun to explain it more fully.

Example:

"New York City, the largest city in the United States, is a major tourist attraction. 

NOT:

New York City, which is the largest city in the US, .....

Write an appositive phrase that fits the gap:

"The book 'Born A Crime, ...................................... , details Trevor Noah growing up in his native South Africa during the apartheid era.

Write an appositive phrase that fits the gap:

"The book 'Born A Crime, ...................................... , details the narrator's experiences growing up in his native South Africa during the apartheid era.

Use 'known for his explosive character' as an appositive in a sentence.

Use 'Noah's younger brother' as an appositive in a sentence.
