• Can answer questions on a B2-level text that has become more familiar through the previous exercises.
• Have continued on the 'instaptoets p. 28' or decided to create your own lesson goal and achieve that one.

Assignment 1:

Coming up with a (controversial) statement

-Use the 'Brazil's right to Beauty' text for guidance.

-As a pair/group come up with 3 (controversial) statements.

-Write down at least one argument for and one against the statement.

-Make sure the rest of the group could discuss these statements.

*You may use the internet (on a chromebook, not a phone)

*In the end each group must type this assignment in LessonUp. We will then decide on the best one(s).

• Pair work, choose two of the statements.
  
• For each, create an argument for and against them.

*You may use the internet to find proof/look up words etc.

*After this, we're letting the 'wheel of names' pick a representative for each group to make your case (debate).

Were you able to answer questions on a B2-level text that has become more familiar through the previous exercises?

Fill in: 'I completed my lesson goal by....' (example: I wanted to study paragraph 1 for history and I did so by creating a summary and then reciting keywords by heart.
