Spinal column - backbone

Rib cage - ribs, breastbone, and thoracic vertebrae

Pectoral girdle - collarbone and shoulder blade

Pelvic girdle - hip bones and sacrum

Ulna or radius?

The ulna and the radius are both in your arm and are hard to tell apart.

"U for Ulna, U for Under."

The ulna is the bone that stays mostly still and lies under (closer to the pinky side of your arm).

Schedel

Alle botten samen in het hoofd noemen we een schedel.

De schedel beschermt onder andere je hersenen.

Wervelkolom

De schedel wordt gedragen door je wervelkolom (ruggengraat).

De wervelkolom bestaat uit halswer-vels, borstwervels en lendenwervels.

Onder de lendenwervels zit het hei-ligbeen en daaraan het staartbeen. (Hoort ook bij de wervelkolom)

Borstkas:
