What is Punctuation?

Punctuation marks are symbols used in writing to clarify meaning and indicate pauses or stops.

Period (.)

A period is used at the end of a statement or command.

Question Mark (?)

A question mark is used at the end of an interrogative sentence, which asks a question.

Exclamation Mark (!)

An exclamation mark is used to express strong feeling, surprise, or excitement.
