Simply add an "s" to the end of most words.
For example:
cat - cats, book - books
For nouns ending in "sis" sounds like "s," "x," "z," "sh," or "ch," add "es". For example: bus - buses, box - boxes.

For nouns ending in a consonant + "o" like "to", "ro", "cho", "go", etc. add "es" For example: tomato - tomatoes, echo - echoes
For nouns ending in a consonant + "y" like "by", "ly", "ny", etc. replace "y" with "ies" For example: baby - babies, rally - rallies

Some words have their own plural form, you'll just need to learn those. For example: child - children, man - men, mouse - mice, tooth - teeth, person - people, fish - fish, sheep - sheep
