California, home to Hollywood! Think of a celebrity that we all know, write down as many things as you can think of about him or her. Later on some people will read out what they've written down, and we'll see whether or not the class can guess who you're describing!

• Simply add an "s" to the end of most words.
  

                      For example:

                      cat - cats, book - books

• For nouns ending in "sis" sounds like                                                                                 "s," "x," "z," "sh," or "ch," add "es".                                                                             For example:                                                                                                               bus - buses, box - boxes.

• For nouns ending in a consonant + "o" like                                                                         "to", "ro", "cho", "go", etc. add "es"                                                                            For example:                                                                                                                tomato - tomatoes, echo - echoes
• For nouns ending in a consonant + "y" like                                                                          "by", "ly", "ny", etc. replace "y" with "ies"                                                                 For example:                                                                                                               baby - babies, rally - rallies
