Exciting Discovery: Scientists Uncover New Solar System!

In an amazing discovery that has astronomers feeling full with excitement, scientists have found a whole new solar system in the depths of space. This incredible find opens up a universe of possibilities and has everyone talking about what might be out there besides our own solar system.
- Mercury is the closest planet to the sun
- It is the smallest planet in our solar system.
- But what Mercury lacks in size, it makes up for in speed: It orbits       the sun faster than any other planet in our solar system (88 days)
- Mercury is really cold on the dark side (-179 C), but really hot on the day side (427 C)

Slide 3 - Diapositive

- Venus is the hottest and brightest planet in our solar system (480 C)
- Is almost the same size as earth
- Has no moons!

Slide 4 - Diapositive

- This is our home!
- Earth is not completely round
- Our moon is slowely drifting away from us

Slide 5 - Diapositive

- Mars is the second smallest planet in our solar system
- The gravity on mars is very weak. You could jump 3 times higher than on earth!
- They recently found water ice just under the surface

Slide 6 - Diapositive

- Jupiter is by far the biggest planet in our solar system, 1000 times bigger than earth!
- It has the shortest 'days'. It only takes 10,5 hours to spin around once on its axis
- It is the oldest planet

Slide 7 - Diapositive

- Saturn is mainly made out of hydrogen and helium
- Saturn is the fartest planet you could see with the naked eye
- It has one of the fastest winds in our solar system (1800 km/h)

Slide 8 - Diapositive

- Urunas has rings, just like Saturn!
- It is the only planet that is not named after a Roman god
- The days are a bit shorter than on earth (17 hours), but a year is 84 earth years!

Slide 9 - Diapositive

- Neptune has rings as well!
- It was the second planet, after Uranus, to be discoverd with a telescope
- It is a giant ice ball
