apostrophe + s ( 's) for people and animals 

singular noun: use 's            my mum's necklace

plural nouns with s: use (')  my cousins'  jackets

plural noun without -s?: use 's

- determiners (my pencil) mijn pen

- pronouns: (that pen is mine) de pen is van mij

But: 'It belongs to me'

Adverbs: To make an adverb Comparative, you use

Possession: you use (') with:

4. all nouns

Write ' or 's: Those are my brothers shoes. There's 2 pairs.

Write the word correctly: That's a .... (child) party

Instead of one of our friends, you can say:

My, your, his, her, its, our, their are:

1. Determiners
2. Pronouns

Okay, then we will explain to each other how the grammar works. To do this you need to know the rules. Try to do it without any help, but you may peak if you really don't know. Explaining it to someone else is the highest level of understanding. The person on the left explains adverbs and the person on the right explains possession. If you together decide to swap that is also okay.

Take 2 minutes to explain to each other the rules.
