Continuous

I was walking my dog this morning.

He is shaking his head.

They are shopping together. 

We were talking on the phone last night. 

Present/Past

• Present = nu
• Past= verleden 

Continuous

Nu iets aan het doen zijn!  
Of was/waren iets aan het doen.

Welke woorden geven dit aan in het Engels?

• At this moment/ right now / now/ just

Voorbeeld

• Ik ben nu aan het eten. 
• I am eating right now.
• Hij was aan het slapen
• He was sleeping.
• We were sleeping.

Continuous: Nu(actie)

Use always the verb TO BE (zijn) +ing

Present Continuous:  AM/IS/ARE + ww/ing

Past Continuous: WAS/WERE + ww/ing
