  • Make a list of the things you read every day, from morning until evening. Discuss in pairs. 
  • Discuss: Would you like to read more?
  • Discuss: would you rather be blind or deaf? Why?

  • Work in pairs. 
  • Look at the picture and do exercise a on SB p. 87. Review with teacher.
  • Listen to the recording with information about the man and do exercise b and c.

  • In two minutes, brainstorm as many possible words related to the words 'crime' and 'criminal'.
  • Look at the picture and so exercise a on SB p. 97.
    Use the following phrases to express your ideas: "It looks like...", "It/He might be...", "It seems as if...". Review with teacher.
  • In pairs, do exercise b and c on SB p. 97. 
    Use the structure "I'd..."/"I would...".

Game: first conditional memory (30 min)
  • Work in pairs. Place the cards face down in front of you.
  • Take turns over two cards.
  • If the two cards make a correct sentence containing an "if"-clause (relating to a possible future situation) and a main clause (relating to result), you keep the cards. If not, you turn them back over.
  • The winner is the person with the most cards when all the pairs are matched.

Finished? Work on the homework.
