Some difficult words on 'Law and order'
accomplice -> de handlanger = iemand die een ander helpt bij een misdaad, medeplichtige 
Voorbeeld: `De inbreker had enkele handlangers die op de uitkijk stonden.
on parole -> voorwaardelijk = afhankelijk van een bepaalde voorwaarde (straf die pas uitgevoerd wordt bij herhaling van het strafbare feit).
verdict -> rechterlijke uitspraak, vonnis die de rechter bekendmaakt aan het eind van de zitting
to prosecute -> voor de rechter laten komen: "Deze man wordt vervolgd wegens diefstal". (prosecuter = aanklager)
