Wanneer gebruik je de past simple? - iets is in het verleden gebeurd en is nu afgelopen.
Je kan de past simple herkennen aan woorden als: last year, yesterday, in 2010. Dit zijn tijdsbepalingen.

Wat is het verschil? Bij de past simple is de actie in het verleden nu afgelopen. Bij de present perfect is de actie nog bezig of is er nog een link met het verleden.
