• I can use simple and continuous forms, both in past and present.

Instruction:

Simple tenses:

Facts, habits.

Continuous tenses:

Actions that are happening at the moment of speaking

Describes actions or events that were ongoing or in progress at a specific point in the past.

Simple Tenses

Present simple = t.t :

She works in a shop in Liverpool.

I work in a shop in Liverpool.

Simple Tenses

Past simple = v.t :

I worked in a shop in Liverpool last year.

She worked in a shop in Liverpool last year. 

Continuous Tenses

Present continuous = t.t met -ing vorm:
vorm van to be + werkwoord + -ing

I am preparing dinner.

He is preparing dinner.

Continuous Tenses

Past continuous = v.t met -ing vorm:
vorm van to be in v.t. + werkwoord + -ing

I was preparing dinner.

He was preparing dinner.
