Future

There are different ways to describe the future:
1. present simple
2. present continuous
3. will + hele ww

Present simple

1. Bij roosters en schema's. Openings- en sluitingtijden, aankomst- en vertrektijden, begin- en eindtijden.

The shops close early today.

Our train leaves at 4 o'clock

Future present simple
The trains to brussel .........(vertrekken) from platform 6.

Try to make a sentence in the future present simple

 Present continuous

De present continuous future gebruik je bij toekomstplannen die afgesproken en geregeld zijn, ze staan al vast. 

                                      Am/is/are + ww + ing

Tomorrow the band is playing in the arena.

They're getting married next week.

We are playing at the youth centre this Friday.

Will/shall

De future vorm will + heel ww en shall + heel ww gebruik je bij beloftes/voorpellingen/aanbod -->  Geen bewijs.

We will play tomorrow, I promise.

I will help you with your homework

To be going to

1. Je verwacht dat iets zal gaan gebeuren --> staat niet vast maar intentie

Am/is/are going to + hele ww

He is going to play in a musical.
