Greetings

There are different ways to greet someone in Dutch. The most common are 'Hallo!' and 'Hoi!'

Explain the different ways to greet someone in Dutch and have the students practice saying them.

Name

To introduce yourself, you can say 'Mijn naam is...' followed by your name.

Teach the students how to say 'My name is...' in Dutch and have them practice introducing themselves.

Age

To tell someone your age, you can say 'Ik ben... jaar oud.'

Teach the students how to say 'I am... years old.' in Dutch and have them practice telling their age.

Nationality

To tell someone your nationality, you can say 'Ik kom uit...' followed by your country.

Teach the students how to say 'I am from...' in Dutch and have them practice telling their nationality.

Profession

To tell someone your profession, you can say 'Ik ben...' followed by your profession.

Teach the students how to say 'I am...' in Dutch and have them practice telling their profession.

Practice

Have the students practice introducing themselves in pairs or small groups.

Give the students time to practice what they have learned and provide feedback on their pronunciation and grammar.
