Frontale neerslag
Warme en koude lucht botsen tegen elkaar -> koude lucht is zwaar en de warme lucht is gedwongen op te stijgen. Als warme lucht opstijgt, koelt hij af. Hierdoor ontstaan er wolken en gaat het regenen.
Frontale regen komt veel veel in Nederland. Wij liggen aan zee en hebben geen bergen. Wel komt de wind bijna altijd uit het zuidwesten.
Een front = plek waar warme en koude lucht elkaar tegenkomen.
