How to form a sentence with a question tag?
Als er:
  • Een vorm van to be or have/has got  (Am, Is, Are, has/hasn't, have/haven't)    
  • Als er geen vorm van to be of hulpwerkwoord in de zin staat, gebruik je do/don't, does/doesn't in de aangeplakte vraag

3 steps to create a tag question:

step 1: look at the verb.
  • "to be(am/is/are)" in the sentence: repeat in tag.
  • auxiliary verb(have got..) in the sentence: repeat in tag.
  • none of them? use 'do/don't & does/doesn't'



Kevin is a doctor, isn't he? 
Kevin has got a cat, hasn't he?
Kevin plays football, doesn't he?
